Most of these are a 60 percent cotton and 40 percent polyester blend, and two are a smoother polyester and spandex knit. The waist sits high with a drawstring, the side pockets are deep, and the leg stays wide all the way to the hem instead of gathering at the ankle. That straight fall is what lets them pass with a clean sneaker and a fitted jacket.
A cotton blend shrinks a little in a hot dryer, so wash cold and tumble on low if you want the length to stay. One style lists a 27.6 to 29 inch inseam, so compare it with a pair you already own.
