What JEKAOYI makes

JEKAOYI makes pants first. For women, that means pull-on dress pants for work in straight, wide leg and bootcut cuts, linen-blend and palazzo pants for hot weather, wide leg sweatpants and flare yoga pants for the rest of the week, cargo joggers for a trail, and skorts. Around the pants sit cotton button-down shirts and light cardigans.

For men, the range is shirts: cotton and linen button-downs with short or roll-up long sleeves, Cuban camp collars and guayaberas, and two stretch dress shirts for the office.

The idea behind the dress pants

A tailored trouser looks right and asks a lot of you: a zip, a hook, a waistband that digs in after lunch. Leggings ask nothing and look like leggings. Our dress pants take the front of the first and the waist of the second. The knit is polyester with 10 to 20 percent spandex, the waist pulls on, and a faux fly, a row of buttons or a pressed crease gives the front its line.

That is why the dress pants are sized by the waist and why nearly all of them have pockets you can use. You will sit, stand, walk and carry things in them, and the fit should hold through all of it.
